‘Fabrics speak to me, they guide me… I look for three things in the fabrics I work with, quality, look and feel. They must meet all of these to be brought to life.’
A girlhood love of dressing up led to a degree in fashion before becoming a pattern maker in a bridal boutique at just 20 years old. This young entry into the world of fashion began a career-spanning obsession with pattern, precision and the pursuit of a perfect fit.
A role sourcing fabric and trims for long-established Melbourne brand, Feathers Boutique, before being scouted to join the production team at luxury Australian womenswear label, Scanlan Theodore, deepened Liz’s understanding and respect for fabric.
Over two decades later, her experience and devotion to contouring fabric into beautiful silhouettes that feel exceptional to wear can be seen and felt in the Liz Skorsis ethical luxury fashion label’s design language today.

Our limited collections are proudly made in Melbourne by our ethically accredited manufacturer. Our manufacturing partner has received ethical accreditation from Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA), an organisation that is committed to making ethically made products within Australia.
We believe in respecting the skill and investing in the knowledge of our production team and we’re committed to keeping production local to our Melbourne design headquarters.
Production is overseen by designer, pattern maker and founder Liz Skorsis to ensure each garment is crafted to the highest quality. If Liz wouldn’t wear it, neither will you.
